The law firm will remain in Dallas’ Harwood District after nearly three decades in the area.

Jones Day will keep its Dallas office presence in the Harwood District.

The international law firm has renewed its lease at developer Harwood International’s Harwood No. 3 building and will eventually move its footprint to the all-new Harwood No. 15 tower.

Jones Day, which currently has about 70 lawyers in Dallas, relocated to Harwood No. 3 from Trammell Crow Center in 1995, when the Harwood District consisted of three office buildings. The area now has more than 3 million square feet of mixed-use development across 19 city blocks.

The firm’s new space at Harwood No. 15 will span more than 73,000 square feet across the 19th, 20th and 21st floors.

Harwood No. 15, located at 3008 N. Harwood St., will span 340,000 square feet across 23 stories.

The new tower near Harry Hines Boulevard and the entrance to the Dallas North Tollway was announced late last year as a speculative office project.

Amenities at Harwood No. 15 will include items such as a 20,000-square-foot rooftop park, saunas, cold plunge and a new Harwood Hospitality Group dining concept. The design team includes architecture firms Kengo Kuma & Associates and Dallas-based Corgan, along with Harwood International’s in-house design teams HCMS and HDF.

CBRE and Jihane Boury and Clay Vaughn of Savills represented Jones Day in lease negotiations, while Harwood International’s Hannah Mesh, Justin Chapman and John Lee represented the landlord.
