Fresh off opening its swanky new Hotel Swexan, the team at Harwood International is adding to its 19-block luxury neighborhood with Harwood No. 15. The new 23-story tower will total more than 340,000 square feet and sit near the Katy Trail and Harwood’s La Rue Perdue, a collection of restaurants and shops off a cobblestone pathway.

Harwood is upping the amenity game with hospitality-like perks, including saunas, steam rooms, and cold plunge, along with a fitness center, 20,000-square-foot rooftop park, and tech-focused conference center. A new restaurant will be added to the mix, expanding Harwood Hospitality Group’s growing portfolio, which now has 16 venues.

Kengo Kuma & Associates of Japan and Dallas-based Corgan will serve as architects on the project, along with Harwood’s in-house design and construction management teams. It’s the same ensemble that worked on Harwood No. 14, a 27-tower that opened substantially leased this past summer. Tenants include S2 Capital, Haynes & Boone, and O’Melveny & Myers.

“We are keeping the band together to bring the same success to our next project, Harwood No. 15,” said Oliver Barbier-Mueller, president of Harwood International.

Overall, the Harwood District is 93 percent leased and commands some of the highest rental rates in the market. The company inked more than 300,000 square feet in deals last year.
