ENERGY SECTOR INVESTOR MOVING LOCAL HQ TO UPTOWN AREA

A local investment firm is relocating its headquarters from North Dallas to the Uptown area.

Cresta Fund Management is moving from Preston Center near Northwest Highway to the Frost Tower on McKinnon Street near the entrance to the Dallas North Tollway.

The private equity firm, which invests in energy transportation, storage and processing businesses, is taking almost 9,500 square feet of space on the 22nd floor of the high-rise.

The office tower, which houses the local head office for Frost Bank, is owned by developer Harwood International.

“We are excited to work with Harwood to support our growing firm,” Chris Rozzell, managing partner at Cresta Fund Management, said in a statement. “The uniqueness of the Harwood District will create a positive environment for both the companies we support and our firm employees.”

The developer’s Harwood District north of downtown has offices for businesses including Boston Consulting Group, Frost Bank, HollyFrontier, Northern Trust, Rolex, Polsinelli, and Viant Technology.

Plans for Harwood’s 18-block district include more than $3 billion in office, retail and residential development.

Hannah Waidmann and Kelly Whaley of Harwood International negotiated the Cresta Fund lease with Brooke Armstrong of JLL.
